Cambodian New Year Day, or Chaul Chnam Thmey, is held each year near 13 and 14 of April.
It lasts for three days and varies to the January 1 date of many other Countries.
It coincides with the usual end of the harvesting season.
The New Year includes purification ceremonies, visits to temples, and playing traditional games.
