Celebrates the birthday of the reigning monarch of the Kingdom of Netherlands.
Since 2014, it has been celebrated on April 27, marking the birth of King Willem-Alexander.
In 2013, Queen Beatrix abdicated. Her son Willem-Alexander became the first King since the observance of Queen's Day.
As a result, the national holiday became known as King's Day, and its celebration was moved to the King's actual birthday, April 27.
